Decarbonization

With the term Decarbonization we refer to a process of transition to alow carbon economy. The decarbonization process Look at reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in particular of carbon dioxide (CO2), in order to mitigate the climate change.

The process of Decarbonization can be undertaken by taking various actions such as: the use of renewable energy sources instead of sources of fossil production, the use of low carbon fuels and carry out production processes with greater energy efficiency.

Already since the Paris Climate Agreement of 2015, numerous States and companies around the world have committed themselves to Decarbonization. The ultimate goal of this process is to achieve a complete carbon neutrality. To achieve this ambitious goal, close collaboration between government, private sector and citizens is necessary in order to achieve a future with low carbon emissions.
